I'm sure most of you can remember when letters were handwritten. No, not emailed, texted, blogged, facebooked, myspaced, fluttered, twittered, or tweeted. I am talking about a one to one (not one to hundreds) communication. You know, a personal note from the heart, written by your own hand, in your own illegible scrawl. You still remember receiving such a letter or note from someone, right? Opening the envelope and holding the actual piece of paper thoughtfully touched, possibly cried upon, by the sender. Remember how thrilled, gratified, and fullfilled you were upon receiving such a personal note from someone who thought you were worth the time and effort. I am offering a way to keep that ancient form of communication alive.
Notecards depicting this year's lighting displays during Botanica's Illuminations are available, awaiting your personal finishing touch. Just drop by "The Gift Garden" at Botanica to acquire the power to brighten the day of a friend or loved one. And be sure to visit Botanica in the evening before the end of December to experience Illuminations. I thank you, Botanica thanks you, and the United States Postal Service thanks you.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE!
