The Snake River at Oxbow Bend
is an iconic view in Grand Teton National Park. Virtually everyone visiting the park takes a photo of this scene. It's like photographing Old Faithful Geyser when in Yellowstone NP, you just have to take a shot. And, it looks different every time. This year the Tetons were disappearing in smoky haze from Idaho wildfires, the aspen color was so-so, and the river was dry from two years of drought. Still it makes for a good photo.
