I think this is about my 9th trip to the Yellowstone/Tetons area. I have always gone the last week of September and the first week of October. This is prime rutting season for elk, deer, moose and pronghorn antelope and you are pretty much guaranteed peak autumn color during these two weeks. I have never been disappointed. This first gallery features a glimpse of some of the wildlife and fall foliage in Yellowstone National Park.
