Katiki Point Lighthouse. From the parking area, you can take a steeply descending trail down to the shoreline where there is a viewing platform. This is the most significant breeding area for
yellow-eyed penguins in the region. If lucky, you may catch a glimpse of the penguins going out to sea in early morning or coming ashore late evening.
